Pastors for Life Mississippi held a rally on Saturday, June 8th, and over 160 people attended. Pastors from across the state prayed for the end to abortion. Several pro-lifers stood in silence with the word "Life" written on red tape over their months.
Pro-Life Mississippi and Pastors for Life Mississippi invite all candidates who are on the ballot for Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General to attend. Each candidate will be given five minutes to outline their Pro-Life position. We ask each candidate to specifically address any future legislation they would propose and/or support. There will be time set aside to ask the candidates questions.
Abortion-bound moms who courageously chose life were scheduled to be honored with baby showers by PLM volunteers and board members. One of the mothers was not able to attend the shower, so the volunteers are going to bring the gift cards and baby items to her. The other mother has already given birth, but sadly her son did not survive. The PLM benevolence fund helped pay the cost of the funeral. Please keep both of these women and their families in your prayers.

Come meet this inspiring group of young people as they pedal their way from Tylertown, MS to St. Louis, MO. They are committed to renewing the Culture of Life in America by raising financial and spiritual support for their pregnancy resource center partners all across the country, raising public awareness of the sanctity of unborn human life and forming pro-life missionaries.
You may go to Sign Up Genius and choose an item to bring for the potluck dinner or for breakfast for the riders before they continue on their journey to St. Louis.
Please join us on the south steps of the state capitol at 12:30 PM as we remember the unborn babies who died from abortion.

PLM is excited about our upcoming Walk for Life. Even though it isn’t scheduled until October, planning is well underway. “Our goal is to have 50 churches form teams for the walk,” announced PLM President Laura Duran. "This is a family friendly event that will start out from St. Richard Catholic Church, proceed 2 miles to the state’s last remaining abortion facility, and end back at St. Richard's with a brunch provided by the Knights of Columbus."
Prizes will be awarded in three categories:
To be eligible for the prizes listed above, participants must raise a minimum of $500.
All youth who take part in the walk and plan to go with PLM to the National March for Life in Washington D.C. in 2020 will have half of the monies they raise credited toward their expenses for the trip.
